About this Event 

Join us for the Foodity & DRG4Food joint matchmaking event, aiming to boost collaboration in the food industry for open calls. This event is your chance to listen to three-minute pitches from researchers showcasing their latest advancements and innovative founders on the lookout for research partners to apply for the open calls of both projects.

🗓️Save the Date: Tuesday, May 23rd, from 15:00 to 16:30. We are hosting the event virtually on Zoom. Register early – if you’re among the first 10, you’ll have the chance to pitch your ideas and network during the afternoon facilitated session. Pitch slots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so secure yours soon!

“Meet your Match” Session FAQ

1.This event is only for:

  • Research groups, laboratories, and research centers focused on enhancing trust, transparency, and responsibility in the food system.
  • SMEs and startups specializing in data-driven solutions for the food sector.

Whether you have a concept ready for Open Call submission or are just beginning to explore possibilities, we invite you to join us at this collaborative session. Remember, both Foodity and DRG4Food emphasize human-centric, decentralized, and trustworthy data-driven solutions, focusing on areas such as personalized nutrition and food traceability.

3.Logistics

  • If you are a researcher, startup, or SME interested in attending, register via F6S and answer ‘yes’ to the pitching question
  • We’ll send you the pitch deck template. Please return your presentations by May 16th, 2024, to fisic@inosens.rs 
  • Should the number of pitches exceed the available slots, we will set up a waiting list
  • The session will be conducted in English

2.Sharing the contents

Create a PowerPoint in 16:9 format, with a max of 3 slides, including title and contact details.

Keep your pitch to 4 minutes: 3 minutes for presenting and 1 minutes for Q&A.

This service is offered at no cost.

Your pitches are in safe hands with Foodity and DRG4Food projects – they won’t be shared or published without your permission. However, please refrain from sharing confidential information, as the Meet your Match event is open to the public.

Attendance at this event does not guarantee acceptance into any of the open calls. The project consortia of Foodity and DRG4Food are not liable for the outcomes of matchmaking or any agreements among participants. This session is designed to facilitate networking opportunities, however, it does not guarantee a favorable evaluation in the open calls. Participants are encouraged to make informed decisions and conduct their own assessments for any collaborations.

The Foodity & DRG4Food “Meet your Match” session can host up to 100 people. Make sure to hop onto the Zoom platform a bit early. If you can’t join live, no worries! We’ll share recordings of the important parts on our website and social media later on.
