Online workshop “Supporting Consumers in Their Food Choices: the Power (and Risks) of Data“

DRG4FOOD invites you to participate at the online workshop that will be held on 19th September at 10.00 am CEST titled “Supporting consumers in their food choices: the power (and risks) of data“.

Register to the workshop – here! 📥

In recent years, consumers have become more conscious of the impact their food choices have on their nutrition and health. However, using food labels to navigate through complexities of food shopping has evolved into a quite challenging experience. 🛒🧃

Consumers’ food choices can be influenced by many factors (nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, lifestyle choices, goals…) which can often make choosing the adequate foods a time-consuming process.

Therefore, apps and food sensors designed specifically to inform consumers and propose individual solutions have become popular in this context. However, the reliance on these tools often requires sharing personal data which can raise security, privacy and more abstract trust issues among end-users. 📱🔒
