Celebrating women in Food & Data Science: meet the women of DRG4FOOD

On the 11th of February is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science! To mark the occasion, we spotlight six inspiring women from DRG4FOOD who are shaping the future of data-driven food systems.

Coming from different countries, backgrounds, and experiences, they share their journeys, challenges, and perspectives.
🔹 Why did they choose this career path?
🔹 What obstacles have they faced working with food data?
🔹 Do they feel included in food apps as users?

You get the opportunity to read but also hear a short yet engaging conversation with Dr Jana Kholova, PhD in Plant Physiology and Genetics.

She is responsible for integrating the knowledge of plant biology into the inter-disciplinary agri-food systems improvement efforts. Learn about her experience working in STEM in several countries worldwide.

She also closes the chat with an encouragement for women to fight.

Get inspired, and let’s continue advocating for equal opportunities for women in STEM!
