MyGenomeGroceries – Personalized Shopping for Optimal Health The health status of an individual is influenced by a combination of genetic, environmental, social, and lifestyle factors. To enhance disease prevention, it is essential to offer precise and effective personalized nutritional recommendations that consider these multiple variables. The GENIE project aims to revolutionize the grocery shopping experience by providing ultra-personalized dietary advice based on genetic, microbiota, and biochemical blood tests, as well as consumer preferences. This initiative, a collaboration between GUNDO, ADN Institut, and i3S, seeks to integrate advanced biological data into the shopping process, empowering users to make healthier and more informed food choices. Furthermore, GENIE aims to demonstrate the positive impact of personalized recommendations on the gut microbiota by comparing pre- and post-intervention samples, thereby showcasing the tangible health benefits of our approach.
